All indication that I've gotten, from researching this at some length, is that it is the Pope, where the Vatican, is really the continuation of Roman, Greek, and Egyptian empire, rooted in the Kabbalistic mystical esoteric traditions of the Jews. Freemasonry, without Judaism, is nothing. Remember too, that the Rothchild family are the personal bankers, the Comptroller if you will, for the Vatican. All roads lead to Rome here, and there is some indication, actually very strong, that Reagan signed a CONCORDAT (look that up) with the Vatican, along with the exchange of embassadors, for the re-establishment of diplomatic relations. The Jesuit Order, the so-called "Society of Jesus" would therefore represent the headship of Global Freemasonry, which is in turn, headed by the Pope as Pontificas Maximus, or the Holy Roman Emporor, in Biblical terms, according to the Book of Revelations, the anti-Christ. Now if he is in submission to the power and authority of Christ (spirit of God, the all Good God), then we're alright. If, OTOH, he draws all power as a rep of "the evil one" then it's bad news. The "sticky wicket" it terminates with the Pope. Let's all hope he's a man of God and a good man, and, if not, that his empire will fall to pieces, at about the rate of absolute free fall in a complete vacuum. Believe it or not, the hidden hand of Roman Catholicism may very well be at the root and source of this entire web, or global illuminati conspiracy. It could very well be that a bunch of Satan worshippers "rule the roost" and control the world system, having HIJACKED the tenets and fundamental philosophical presuppositions, of Christianity.

It's entirely in the realm of conceivable, that Ronald Reagan ceded certain rights and powers, even spiritually, to the Vatican, under a secretly signed "Concordat". No Concordat, not diplomatic ties and exchange of embassadors..?

Further research on Concordats, and how they function, and in what way they impinge on Civil Law, will give you the legal and constitutional understanding about how this relationship works.

Reagan was the ONLY one to be sworn in as President FACING the Washington Monument as well. I think he took his marching orders directly from the Vatican, as his "higher power". He too was just a figurehead.

All that said, I do not believe that Pope John Paul was behind 9/11, and in fact, I do believe that Bush Sr. (head of the Knights Templar) was the ringleader behind it, and it's my understanding that agents of the Pope recently cleaned Bush Sr. (and his group) out of as much as four trillion dollars, which was squirreled away in various "secret" bank accounts all over the world (except not secret to the Rothchilds), and I heard that Bush Sr.'s recent breakdown and bawling episode was because of that, because of having the Pope pull the rug out from under him. Maybe it's no wonder we also saw Bush Sr. practically bragging about the JFK "conspiracy" at the recent Funeral of Gerald Ford. It's my understanding that the Jesuits were as much behind the assassination of JFK as they were the Lincoln assassination. Bush may have been trying to remind the Papal Nuncio who was present there, about his own involvement in helping to faciliate the false flag cover for that operation..

In another video of that speech (can't find it) I noticed him left his head and blink his eyes before delivering this segment, and so I'm suggesting that this part of the speech was "coded" and was really intended for another audiance altogether, with the metaphor being offered, a parralel, to Jesus Christ.
